Promote innovative and multidisciplinary scientific research, strengthening the impact of molecular biology on Bolivian society and addressing national and international challenges.
Highlight the contribution of Bolivian molecular biologists, emphasizing their role and contribution to scientific and technological progress, both locally and globally.
Promote continuous training and professional development, creating new academic spaces and training opportunities to ensure the constant growth and advancement of the scientific community.
Facilitate the transfer of knowledge and technology, establishing links between science and society, and promoting public policies and regulations based on scientific evidence for sustainable development.

Our Strategy

The strategy of the Bolivian Society for Molecular Biology (SBBM) is based on a collaborative and interdisciplinary approach aimed at strengthening the development of molecular biology in Bolivia. We aim to achieve our objectives through the implementation of the following key actions:

Fostering Collaborative Networks:
Promote connections between molecular biologists and professionals from various disciplines, both nationally and internationally, to enrich the exchange of ideas and resources.
Training and Development
Offer continuous training opportunities to our members by organizing workshops, seminars, and courses that address the needs of the current scientific context.
Knowledge Dissemination:
Implement initiatives to showcase the work of our professionals and facilitate access to scientific knowledge through conferences, publications, and digital platforms.
Promoting Innovative Research:
Encourage multidisciplinary research projects that address the most relevant challenges for Bolivian society, ensuring the application of molecular biology in strategic areas such as health, biodiversity, and the environment.
Engagement with Society:
Facilitate the transfer of knowledge and technologies to the community, supporting public policies based on scientific evidence that promote sustainable development.

Through these actions, the SBBM positions itself as a key player in the advancement of molecular biology in Bolivia, working to ensure that this discipline not only grows within the scientific community but also has a positive impact on people’s everyday lives and the country’s development.
